Practical workbook

Write the turning calendar before you stack

Record: Stacking date, route, stack dimensions, each turning date with core temperature before turning, and end readings.

  1. Pick the route and count days from stacking day zero.

  2. Write every turning date on a board in the yard.

  3. Mark the gypsum turning so it is not missed or doubled.

  4. Measure stack width and height after stacking and correct it.

  5. On the last day record pH, moisture and ammonia smell.
