Cultivation, packing and processing are distinct activities. PMKSY applications are component-specific and EoI-driven; a status update is not a generic open window and a processing scheme may not fit a growing room.

Part 01

Classify the activity before choosing a scheme

Write down the sellable product and every operation performed at the proposed unit. Fresh cultivation, grading and packing, dehydration, freezing, extraction and ready-to-eat manufacturing are different project boundaries; a processing component cannot be assumed to fund a growing room.

PMFME evidence supports processing, not ordinary cultivation

The attached PMFME modification describes eligible plant, machinery and technical civil work for a micro food-processing enterprise. It does not establish that fresh mushroom cultivation qualifies, or that a state is accepting applications now.

The July 2026 official status record confirms implementation and an expression-of-interest route; it is not a nationwide mushroom eligibility notice or a generic open window. Identify the exact PMKSY component and then locate its current official EoI before budgeting support.

Part 04

Food licensing is a separate decision

Scheme fit does not determine the correct FSSAI registration or licence. Use the current FoSCoS eligibility flow with the actual activity, turnover, capacity and premises, and keep that compliance evidence separate from the finance assumption.
