Use the linked authority page, record the date and ask for a written reference to the current guideline or application notice.
Start with the institution that owns the decision
Use the attached official portal for the relevant authority: horticulture for MIDH implementation, the AIF system and lender for AIF finance, the state PMFME channel for processing support, FSSAI or FoSCoS for food licensing, and the Ministry of MSME portal for Udyam.
Ask a question that can be checked
Name the scheme, guideline version, component, applicant type, district, project activity and proposed timing. Ask whether a current notice exists and request its URL, date, reference number, closing date and the office responsible for the next step.
Create a contact log, not a copied phone list
Record the contact date, official channel, office or unit, question, answer and written reference. Recheck old contact details at the authority portal because officers, telephone numbers, portals and administrative responsibility can change.
Separate authority and lender questions
The implementing authority explains scheme procedure and component interpretation; the lender decides credit appraisal and sanction. Obtain both answers when a project is credit-linked instead of treating one institution's reply as the other's approval.
