Practical workbook

Watch one bag for a full flush

Record: Casing date, first pin date, cap sizes, pick date, weight per bag, condition on day two.

  1. Mark one bag and write its casing date on it.

  2. Note the day the first pinhead appears and count back.

  3. Measure three caps each morning until you pick.

  4. Pick at the size your buyer asks for and weigh that bag alone.

  5. Pack with four holes of 4 to 5 mm and check again on day two.
